Weebly is closing in 67 countries

If Weebly is shutting down in your country here's your migration path.

Square is closing Weebly to customers in 67 countries, giving you roughly 90 days to find a new home for your website. It's a real disruption — you've put serious work into your site — but moving doesn't have to mean starting over.

Articulation was built by early engineers behind Weebly, so you'll feel right at home — with better support than the platform you're leaving.

Your Weebly shutdown timeline

Square has published three key dates. Don't wait until the last one.

June 29, 2026

New page publishing disabled

You can no longer publish new pages on your Weebly site.

September 27, 2026

Sites taken offline

Your Weebly site stops serving visitors and goes dark.

December 26, 2026

Account access ends

Your Weebly account — and everything in it — is permanently closed.

We move it all for you, automatically

Our conversion tool rebuilds your site on Articulation without the manual work.

  • All of your pages
  • Your blog posts
  • Your site navigation and menus
  • Your images and media
  • Your products and store items
  • Your design, fonts and colors

Your 4-step migration plan

  1. 1

    Back up your Weebly data

In Weebly, open Account Settings and download a backup of your site so your content is safe.

  2. 2

    Import your site to Articulation

Paste your Weebly URL into our converter and we'll preview your new site instantly. Getting started is completely free — import, preview and edit your whole site at no cost, and you only pay when you're ready to make it live.

  3. 3

    Transfer your custom domain

Move your domain to Articulation before December 26, while you still have access to your Weebly account.

  4. 4

    Publish and go live

Review your new site, make it yours, and publish to restore your online presence.

The safe window is the next few weeks — not the last few days

Domain transfers take time, and they depend on your Weebly account still being active. Start now so a slow transfer doesn't leave your site offline when Weebly shuts down.
